comments online? >> we're seeing another information where technology has outstripped the law. you know, in the past to get published in a newspaper, to get widespread distribution of your complaints against somebody, very hard. you have to get a newspaper to take you seriously. they have to have a big readership. now you just go online. i was reading one account that said yelp has as many as 83 million visitors to the sites. you can literally destroy a business by posting negative things about the business. it's tough on the businesses. they have very little recourse. the communications decency law that protects angie's list and yelp from being sued. they can say, hey, we're just a forum. if people want to post, they can post. the only thing a business can do is sue, saying you defamed me and i'm going to sue you for money damages. suits like this will scare people from posting on the internet and we'll have less free speech and less exchange of ideas and people kind of like the fact that you can go on the internet and check people out. so this is an evolving area of the law. i think y

have a way of working themselves out. it is an issue of economics, the law of supply and demand. but boy, i was back here in mid- november, when the season started. this place was alive with enthusiasm and now this strike has all boats docked. no crab are being caught in the san francisco bay as we speak. before the season started, fishermen and wholesalers had agreed to a price of $3 a pound for fresh dungeness crab, a little higher than normal. last year it was $2.25. fishermen said they needed more money because there were fewer crabs in the bay and the higher price of fuel. fish brokers say demand is down so they only want to pay $1.80. now that both are idle supply is down and caught in the middle of all this people who like to eat dungeness crab. some retailers say their tanks are empty. it's the law of economics so i think it will balance out. i don't know how long that will take. it's san francisco bay that is participating in the strike as well as half moon bay and bodega bay. live on fisherman's wharf anne makovec, cbs 5. >>> new this morning, duchess of cambridge is r

this afternoon. the hope was he would dial back on some of his decrees and that put himself above the law. three important points. number one, he said he decree applies only to sovereign matters of state, whatever that means. as far as we can tell it doesn't mean much of anything. the second thing, his decree to shield his decisions from any legal action didn't aim to stop judicial work. in other words he wished the judges across the country hadn't walked out. but they did. he tried to make himself a dictator. so he has that problem. and maybe most importantly here is the latest word, he said he will not tolerate anyone working to overthrow a legitimate government. it is all about semantics here. you could certainly say they were working to overthrow the legitimate government. he forgot to mention the government was put in-law git matily has now changed -- legitimately has now changed. and if that stands there is clearly going to be trouble. egypt is at a turning point as mohamed morsi is speaking. anymore news of note i will bring it to you. >>> the white house vows if -- there will be conseque
